As an Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in Paediatric Care, I work exclusively with children –treating everything from injuries and fractures to more complex orthopedic conditions.

I strive to help children get back to being children, and free them from as much pain and discomfort as I can. I have been in private practice since 2010, and I am currently head of the Paediatric Orthopaedic Unit at Steve Biko Academic Hospital.

As a father myself I understand the worry and anxiety that comes with an injured child and as a Specialist it is my passion to help.

My mission is to make sure children receive the best paediatric care possible- so they can get back to being kids, free from pain and discomfort.

I aim to achieve this by treating each child in my care with all the skills and knowledge I have, ensuring I have a good relationship with my patients, their care-givers and my medical team and making myself available to other healthcare practitioners for teaching and advice.

I accept speaking invitations to help expand the knowledge and understanding of this highly specialised field.
